This woodland art tapestry is inspired by walking in the English Lake District, through tree silhouettes in the woods of the Langdale Valley. Original drawings form the starting point for this piece of contemporary fine art. It is carefully hand-woven by the artist, who ‘paints’ with multicolour threads in this piece, blending colour and building a picture with each shuttle that is hand-thrown to create the fabric. Fibres include wool, cotton and silk. It is ready to hang straight on the wall, framed in a matt black frame with black mount card and measures 86cm wide by 42cm high and sits 3cm deep.
